Artisans' Patriotic Blog Hop!!

Share

Welcome to the 2010-11 Artisan Award Winner's Patriotic Blog Hop!! (I'm still so excited every time I hear someone say "Artisan Award" or look at my letter from Stampin' Up!). I'm so glad you could join us for our hop! Don't forget to leave lots of comments along the way, we all love to feel loved, don' we? We have been busy creating some fun patriotic projects just in time for the Independence Day and Canada Day, so I hope you enjoy.

For my project today, I decided to create a banner to add a little "stars and stripes" to my patriotic home decor. I hung it just above the fireplace so it's sure to let all our guests know we are excited to celebrate Independence Day. I LOVE fireworks, and I'm a sucker for summer-vendor-cart food, so you can imagine how much I'm really looking forward to this weekend! Fried food, here I come!

BUT, that's not the only reason I'm looking forward to this weekend...did you know Stampin' Up!'s brand new Idea Book & catalog is coming out on Thursday, July 1st??? Eeeeee!! I'm doubly excited now!! How would you like to have a copy to call your own?? Just CLICK HERE to email me and reserve your copy for 50% off! You just pay $5 plus $4.95 shipping. (Regular price is $9.95 plus $6.95 shipping). BUT, this offer is only good through July 4th!

Creating the Pennants for this banner was soooo easy! I just did a quick roll through the Big Shot (113439) with the Pennant Banner die (113483), and voila! I had a banner in no time! Want to see more projects using the Big Shot? CLICK HERE!

Another fave product of mine I used on this banner is the Chunky Essentials Glitter (108797). I love how big and chunky the glitter is, it is really eye-catching! Helpful Hint: Glitter is not a mess to be feared! When you use the Powder Pal (102197) it stays in the tray and goes right back in the jar with no mess at all.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Have fun on the hop! Oh, and don't forget to leave me a comment (I LOVE them!) :)

The next blog on the hop is the talented Andrea Munro's Blog, "Hiding Out in my Craft Room"
