Lovin' that Raspberry Tart Much!

Share

Here's a super quick Sanity Saver Valentine Card. I used Rose Red card stock and the Love You Much stamp set to send out a little of the love in my heart for the Raspberry Tart DSP (lovin it!!). Plus, the cute heart and flower accents were punched using the three-flower punch and the three-heart punch. And see that little white accent in the middle of the flower? Oh yes, my uniball signo white gel pen added that extra "umph!" in less than a second. Stamps: Love You Much (113756), Polka Dot (111584)

Bella Blossoms-Thank You Card

Share
One of my customers emailed me this morning asking for an elegant thank you card. This one immediately came to mind! I made this card at a demonstrator convention in St. George, UT. I wish I could give credit to the original designer, but I don't know who designed it! I love the chunky essentials glitter in the center of the blossom and on the smaller leaf (not sure if it shows in the pic), and the powder pal makes clean-up a snap. I used the paper-piercing tool from the crafter's tool kit to poke holes through the vanilla and kiwi kiss papers to place the vanilla brads that hold the vanilla frame in place. Stamps: Bella Blossoms(111596) (on the dormant list) Paper: Riding Hood Red(111348), Kiwi Kiss(111353), Very Vanilla(101650) Ink: Riding Hood Red(111836), Kiwi Kiss(111835), Chocolate Chip(100908) Tools: Powder Pal(102197), Two-way Glue Pen (100425), Crafter's Tool Kit (104310) Embellishments: Chunky Essentials glitter (108797), Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon(111365)

Friend to Friend with Love

Share

I have been working on some fun projects for an upcoming Valentine's Workshop/Class, and this just turned out so cute, I had to post it right away!! This will make such a cute gift for girlfriends and neighbors on Valentine's. I fell in love with the Raspberry Tart Paper the moment I saw it, so of course it is going to be featured on many of my "Love Day" projects. Here is the first of many more to come!

I used 2" x 11" Rose Red Paper as the base, and a 2"x 4" Cameo Coral piece as the "cap". I scored the Rose Red at 5.5" and 6" to create the base. Then, I used SNAIL to adhere the 2" x 5" piece of Raspberry Tast DSP to the front, and used sticky strip to adhere the cameo coral piece to the back (it is scored at 1.5" and 2" AFTER scalloping both sides of the cameo coral cardstock). The only tricky part left is creating the scallop circle with a window in it. Just remeber to punch a 1" circle first, and THEN punch a scallop circle around the 1" hole. Also, I cheated a little and punched a 1-1/4" circle in the package so I would have a little "wriggle" room to make sure the scallop circle would be perfectly centered. Ha! And do you see those yummy treats inside? Hershey's own "caramel-filled chocolate sticks"! Who could resist??

Stamps: Love You Much (currently 20% off!!) (113756) Ink: White Craft (101731) Paper: Raspberry Tart DSP (113975), Rose Red (102544), Cameo Coral (100475) Tools: Paper Cutter (104152), Scallop Circle Punch (109043), 1-1/4" Circle Punch (104403), 1" Circle Punch (109046), Scallop Edge Punch (112091), Powder Pal (102197), Heat Tool (100005) Embellishments: White Embossing Powder (109132), Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (111372) Click Here to Purchase Online! Versatile and FAST Birthday Wishes

Share
As I mentioned, I have been on an Urban Garden DSP rampage lately, and today's card is no exception! I created this birthday card because I wanted a card that could easily be given to guys (I have 8 brothers!) but would also work for women. Here are the two versions I came up with by just swapping out the DSP pattern.

When I make cards for guys, I try to keep it simple with clean lines and not too much embellishment. Plus, with so many guys to make cards for, this one is definitely a SANITY SAVER! (15 minutes or less)

The Sincere Salutations stamp set is an absolute must-have! If I were only allowed to have one greeeting set, this would be it. ALL of the greetings come in so handy!

Stamps: Sincere Salutations (115068)

Paper: Basic Gray (108692), Urban Garden DSP (my Fave!!) (112042), Kiwi Kiss (111353), Baja Breeze (111352), Whisper White (100730)
Ink: Basic Gray (109120)
Tools: Ticket Corner Punch (107214), Photo Corners Punch (109042)
Embellishments: 1/4" White Grograin Ribbon (109025)

Stationary Set

Share
I have been receiving so many emails about my Cherish stationary box, I just decided to post it and the instructions here. Hope you enjoy making this great stationary set!
There is a second set of instructions for a stationary kit that looks like a purse, you can just ignore those (or give it a try!)
I created this to teach at a workshop in November. Love that Urban Garden DSP!! Contact me if you'd like to have me do this project at a workshop for you--it would be tons of fun!

Make a Wish

Here is a card I put together for a make-and-take at an in-home boutique. I love this card! The bright colors, glitter, and texture make it a fun one. It works for guys and kids (funny how those two so often go together)! I used my two-way glue pen along the base of the "icing" and then sprinkled chunky essentials glitter. To color the sprinkles and candle, I pressed my ink pad into its lid and then daubed my blender pen in the ink to get that nice watercolor look. For that cool "accordian" strip with the Tangerine Tango cardstock, I alternated scoring big-little-big-little sections on the tangerine tango cardstock, and then folded the cardstock over on itself. The greeting is first stamped with versamark, and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Stamp Sets: Crazy for Cupcakes (11618), Little Bits Wheel (109691), A Little Birthday Cheer (retired) Paper: Pacific Point (111350), Tangerine Tango (111349), Baja Breeze (111352) Ink: Baja Breeze (111833), Basic Black (101179), Versamark (102283) Tools: White embossing powder(109132), Blender pens (102845), Summer Sun marker (100077), Paper Cutter with scoring blade (104152), Powder Pal (102197), Heat Tool (100005) Embellishments: Two-way glue pen (100425), Chunky Essentials glitter (108797), Twill Tape(105245), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430) Click Here to Order Online! The day is finally here...the new Spring-Summer 2009 catalog is going to be released! The online version hasn't gone live, yet, but you can check out the sampler while we wait for the full catalog to get here!

I was dying to see what was in the new catalog, and luckily because I'm a demonstrator, my catalog came a few days early! I received it on Friday, and I have basically spent every night before going to bed going through it cover to cover. Haha! I know, I'm totally crazy about Stampin' Up! stuff. My new faves: 1. the texturz plates for the Big Shot and 2. the eyelet border punch (So cute!!).
