Christmas in July

Share

Am I completely crazy, or do you start thinking about Christmas cards in July, too?? I guess we've all heard of Christmas in July, plus the "Ways to Use It" splitcoast challenge last Thursday was to make a Christmas item, so I got thinking about how much fun I have making Christmas cards each year. Plus, it's Monday, and that means Mojo Monday!! I really look forward to trying out the new sketch each week. This is the sketch for today:

You'll notice I omitted the upper frames from my card. I was having too much fun with all those new designs and prints from the NEW Merry Moments DSP (115672), and I like to keep my Christmas cards clean and simple because I usually make a lot of the same card!

The image comes from the Holiday Best stamp set. It is a Level 1 Hostess Set, which means you can earn this stamp set for FREE with a $150 order. You'll notice the stamped image has several colors. To get this colorful effect, use markers to color directly on the rubber before stamping. Stampin' Up! has markers to match each and every one of its exclusive colors.

For that adorable bow, see my picture tutorial here. It's a snap to make and has such a polished, professional look.

Want to give this card a try? All of the supplies I used are listed below. Just CLICK HERE to go to my Stampin' Up! website to order any of the supplies you need. Once you get there, click on "Shop Now" in the upper right hand corner, and use the item numbers listed below.

Happy Stampin!
