Jingle All the Way

Share
Are you dying to start decorating for Christmas like I am?? I have been bugging my husband since the first of November...
"What do you say we start putting up Christmas decorations?" (hopeful smile) "mmm." (nose wrinkle)

A few days later...
"So, those Christmas decorations sure seem like they would love to get out of those boxes!" (another hopeful smile)
"mmm." (grumble)

"Now??" (hopeful smile #3)

I think it's working...? Well, maybe not yet, but soon! So, in the meantime, here is a project I was working on last night. My poor Christmas cards class this morning! Instead of prepping supplies for class this morning, I ended up working on this! I was just a little behind schedule... :)

This project features the "Jingle All the Way" vinyl (114707) from the Decor Elements catalog. Want a FREE copy of the Decor Elements catalog? Just Email Me and I'll put yours in the mail today!

I also used Merry Moments DSP (115672), Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon (109065), Mr. Big (113439) and the Fan-tabulous Top Note Die (113463). I purchased the shadow box at a local craft store.

"Happiness" comes in Vinyl!

Share

I know it has been a couple of days since I've posted, but I've been busy working on a more time intensive project...I hope you like it!

Once again, I've used the darling Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper (115671) to make a cute wall hanging. I chose the decor elements "Happiness" vinyl (size small in chocolate, 114120), so that every time I walk past this wall hanging, I'll think of something that makes me happy... slurpees, my hubby, warm fuzzy socks in the winter...mmm, I feel happier already! What are some things that bring you happiness?

The vinyl I chose, "Happiness", is just one of many in the Definitely Decorative Decor Elements catalog. Many vinyls are available in several colors, and there are tons of very affordable options. For example, "Happiness" is available in black, chocolate, and white, and even better, is very reasonably priced at just $4.95!!

Want to see more?? For a limited time, you can get your FREE hard copy of the Definitely Decorative catalog when you email me your name and address. You can also download an electronic copy of the Definitely Decorative catalog HERE.

Want to give this project a try? I am having a class (date TBD) so email me if you are in the Salt Lake Area and are interested in finding out more. It is a snap to customize the colors to match your own decor and style.

If you'd like to give it a try on your own, I've listed the supplies I used below. Just CLICK HERE to go to my Stampin' Up! website to order any of the supplies you need. Definitely Decorative Kitchen Magnet Board

Share

I am a home decor junkie. I love looking through interior design magazines, home decor store catalogs, AND our very own Stampin' Up! "Definitely Decorative" decor elements catalog. I think using Decor Elements is a wonderful way to add your personal touch to your own home. I love the results I get when I combine Definitely Decorative products with my own taste and style, because I get something truly unique and handmade, fits my space, and expresses my creativity in my home decor.

When I saw the "Eat" vinyl, the first thing that popped into my head was making a cute recipe card stand. Cooking is not my "thing", so I'm always looking for ways to add a little more pizazz to my routine. By having a cute recipe stand (that I made myself!) that fits my style and has some "panashe" might make it more fun, right? Plus, I have been meaning to make a magnet board to pin up a list of 'stuff' I need to buy so I stop forgetting all the little things!

This adorable countertop magnet board certainly fits the bill. Cottage Wall DSP comes to the rescue once again (what doesn't look cute with cottage wall DSP on it!!). To view more of my projects using Cottage Wall DSP CLICK HERE.

To create fabulous magnets, a little chipboard and DSP will do the trick! Helpful Hint: adhere DSP to chipboard first, then run through your Big Shot for perfectly crafted magnet toppers like my butterfly and scallop square "Enjoy" magnets.

As you may have noticed, I really like these snazzy little ribbon bow ties! If you do too, feel free to check out my picture tutorial to learn how to make them.
