I have been working on some fun projects for an upcoming Valentine's Workshop/Class, and this just turned out so cute, I had to post it right away!! This will make such a cute gift for girlfriends and neighbors on Valentine's.
I fell in love with the Raspberry Tart Paper the moment I saw it, so of course it is going to be featured on many of my "Love Day" projects. Here is the first of many more to come!
I used 2" x 11" Rose Red Paper as the base, and a 2"x 4" Cameo Coral piece as the "cap". I scored the Rose Red at 5.5" and 6" to create the base. Then, I used SNAIL to adhere the 2" x 5" piece of Raspberry Tast DSP to the front, and used sticky strip to adhere the cameo coral piece to the back (it is scored at 1.5" and 2" AFTER scalloping both sides of the cameo coral cardstock). The only tricky part left is creating the scallop circle with a window in it. Just remeber to punch a 1" circle first, and THEN punch a scallop circle around the 1" hole. Also, I cheated a little and punched a 1-1/4" circle in the package so I would have a little "wriggle" room to make sure the scallop circle would be perfectly centered. Ha! And do you see those yummy treats inside? Hershey's own "caramel-filled chocolate sticks"! Who could resist??
